 Book Review

Interactive books like this one are a really good way to entice your computer and television generation kids to read. I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review and I honestly feel that it is a beautiful book for anyone to read. There is Charlie, whose parents have separated. Now his mother must work hard in the big city of London away from their hometown of Suffolk. This means leaving everything familiar behind and heading into a new school with no friends.

A miserable first day at school results in some sympathy from Auntie Kate, whose home they are living in for the time being. She teaches Charlie to embrace his differences and even flaunt them. They go to the circus and Charlie gets picked by a clown to go up on the high trapeze. An adventure that allows him to understand that the only limits on his experiences are the ones that he places on himself.

The next day at school he is transformed from a shy small child to a confident boy who manages to impress the entire class and make friends for life.

Emma's 'Once upon a NOW' series has the following three books

    Alf The Workshop Dog.
    Isabella'sPink Bicycle
Kool Kid Kruncha and The High Trapeze

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my book, It's always such a boost when readers take the trouble to give feedback and wonderful to think that a book has given pleasure.

It was a lovely short read Emma, and my son did enjoy it. I got wise after Alf and told him we would do the videos after we finished the words!
