Book Review

Amethyst is the daughter of a goldsmith who has exception skill in the family trade but is not allowed to operate her own shop as she is a woman. Her father has decided to marry her off to his apprentice and she is just about coming to terms with living her life in a love less marriage when the Great Fire of London turns everything upside down.

Colin is an Earl with a lot of responsibilities. He doesn't have time for anything but consolidating his crumbling assets. He knows he needs a good match and is also heading into a love less marriage with a suitable heiress. However his plans are shattered when he realizes that he can't get over Amy. Finally he decides to follow his heart, and is rather surprised by his love's resources.

Lovely book. Really enjoyed the story.
