Kendra's a bit of a tomboy, given the fact that she's the only girl among all the Chase brothers. She's had a fairly unconventional upbringing on the continent and is not really interested in the silly suitors at court. However her brothers think it's high time she settled down. In a fit she rides out on her own only to be held up by the highwayman.What she doesn't know is that the mysterious highway man is actually Trick Caldwell, her brother's friend and also the Duke of Amberly. Her brother's willingness to give her in marriage to a man who seems to be nothing more than an outlaw causes her more than a mild panic attack. Of course things get sorted out in the end and they do get their HEA.
