It's a small town romance where Annabelle has returned home to start afresh. Unfortunately a past hurt unknowingly follows her into town. Now she wants to expose him for the fraud she knows him to be. However his actions and words seem at odds with his behaviour in the past.

Can Annabelle get over her desire for revenge to give Rick a chance to explain himself? And can Rick actually manage to give her said explanation? Love the Gamification concept she wants to use to get to him. Good read.

Marnie struggles to make a comfortable life for her son Alex after the unfortunate death of her husband. Even as she struggles with her sense of guilt for not having done enough for her husband when he needed help, she hopes to forge a bond with her in-laws as she invites them over for Christmas. She is high strung and wants everything to be perfect, however she has not catered for a St. Bernard who can talk and a gorgeous temporary neighbour.

Jonas is babysitting Snowflake for his deployed friend for a week. He is also trying to come to terms with a workplace tragedy where he was involved in a car crash as a cop on a high speed chase. While no one else blames him for the accidental death of the little old grandmother in the car crash, he has failed to protect the one he joined up to serve. In his own head he could not get around the accident. Then he finds the perfect distraction next door, Marnie.

Two people with enough baggage would not be in a place to start a new relationship, however Snowflake is a St.Bernard with a mission. If only Marnie didn't think she was going crazy when she listened to his advice! This is one really cute story.

Anne has not exactly had a conventional childhood. When her mother remarries she experiences neglect and her grandparents step in to care for her. She loves living with them and has no hesitation about giving up her job and moving back to help her elderly grandfather once her grandmother passes away.

They discover a litter of stray kitten and when one is poisoned, Anne wants to care for the rest. unfortunately there is just one little kitten left to rescue. Anne calls her Mavy and her grandfather takes to the kitten as he is lonely.

The kitten needs to be tended to by a vet, and Anne gets a shock when she figures out that the vet is the one man she had loved. The one man who had ended their relationship without so much as a phone call or a letter. Now Kyle is all smiles to see her and wants her back in his life, but he has a secret.

Will this be the end of their relationship, or will Anne and Kyle be able to get over the past and bond again to become a happy family?

Marcus has been through a traumatic childhood experience where he lost his parents and his two sisters. He also had severe injuries which left him with a number of scars. He has always tried to stay hidden because he can't face the look of sheer horror people get on their faces when they take a look at him. he has locked himself away for the last seven years with only his cat for company and a number of employees who make sure that he never has to step out of his appartment and face people again.

Cali is new to the city and lonely despite having landed her dream job. She doesn't think of herself as attractive, and is more than happy to be living her dream life even though staying away from her family makes her want to run right back into their comforting arms. She needs a friend to talk to and Marcus, even though he remains just a voice on the phone , seems to be the ideal person to be that caring friend. Unfortunately she wants more, but can Marcus overcome his own insecurities and be there for her in person?
