Book Description
Widowed teacher, Cindy Harris, takes her son to meet Santa at the mall, but instead of jolly Saint Nick, they get grumpy Brad Williams. He’d stepped into the red suit to help out his brother, not promise the impossible, like deliver a daddy by Christmas. Brad is the new real estate agent Cindy hired to sell her family home, and sparks fly between them. Will the magic of Christmas open their hearts, and offer the best gift of all: love?
Book Review
I read this book as a part of the Ten Christmas Brides Boxed set, I had already written my review for that after reading the first four books. Its a great collection. Then I read this book, and it literally forced me to write a review! Brad and Cindy's romance was so sweet and so true to life. The grieving widow, who is making small decisions to cope with a big life change. The Santa in the mall filling in for his brother. The chance encounter in the mall followed by the second encounter at home. The story developed so beautifully. I totally loved it. The spirit of the festival season combined with the need for little Ty to have a father all come together so well. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Young. Beautiful. Idealistic. Proud. Gigi was raised outside the Andrade clan, but it has left her with an ache she cannot deny. When she’s invited to her brothers’ weddings, she refuses at first, then changes her mind and attends without telling anyone. She won’t let herself love them, but she can’t stay away. It’s a recipe for disappointment and heartbreak.
Especially when she throws herself at her brother’s best friend, Kane.
Kane Sander
Sexy, rich, loyal, protective. He shouldn't want her. But he will.
He should stay away from her. But he won’t.
Love doesn’t follow anyone’s rules. Deny it. Run from it. Love always finds a way.
Book Review
When Gigi decides to attend her brothers' wedding incognito, she is forced with this feeling of loneliness. She is about to have a pity party on the beach at the sides of the party when Kane finds her. He's already a little smitten by the sexy Italian he saw earlier in charge of the party arrangements, but when he sees the sadness in her eyes, he is drawn by something more. Only trouble is, she's much too young. He walks away that night, but try as he will he can't forget her.
Years later when he discovers that Gigi is Gio's little sister he knows he should not go anywhere near her considering the Bro Code. Unfortunately the old attraction is still very much there, stronger than before. They go through their ups and downs and as is true of all good romance novels finally resolve their issues and get together. I loved the scene where Gio's wife locks her husband and Kane out of Gigi's apartment when both of them start a pissing match. It was so funny! All in all, fun read, good time pass, specially if you have been reading the full series.

Luke Andrade:
Wealthy, talented, fiercely loyal. He’s the glue that holds his family together, but every man has a breaking point. Cassie Daiver: Scarred, but not broken. She’s recreating herself in a small town far away from her painful childhood. He’s angry with the world and himself. She finally has something she’s afraid to lose. They couldn’t have met at a worse time. Luke and Cassie are about to discover love often happens somewhere along the way, and usually, when one least expects it.
Book Review
Of all the Andrade brothers I have always found that I identified most with Luke, the peacemaker. The story of his love is different from the opulent billionaire settings of his brothers and works really well for him. The way the brothers bond over the series is brought out beautifully in this book, as is Luke's hesitation to involve Cassie in his life and troubles.
Author Ruth Cardello takes the mundane and makes it magical once again. Its a great book to be swept away with romance and fold your laundry with. :) Yes its not great literature or a classic book, but it helps bring a smile to your face during your busy day. I would love to see Gigi join her brothers on the island in her home. I guess that's the next book.
