Book Description
Home from their travels at last, Sunaya and Iannis are confronted with a threat against which even their strongest magic is largely helpless. The very ground under their city is becoming increasingly unstable, and there are disturbing predictions of an impending quake the likes Solantha hasn't seen in centuries.
While their hands are full preparing for disaster, Iannis's most dangerous rival returns to Solantha, intent on finding anything he can use against Iannis. It isn't long before Fenris too is in his crosshairs, his dangerous secret perilously close to being exposed. Sunaya is fiercely determined to protect both her friend, and the man she loves, but will her efforts be enough? With old and new enemies as well as the might of nature ranged against her, one false step or indiscreet word can spell doom for all three of them...
Book Review
The long awaited end of the series book! Sunaya's adventures have finally led her to a position of power from where she is able to help a lot of people. She is seen coming into her own and working things through even as she feels her old life slipping away. Her new identity while totally dependent on the Chief Mage, is one that she is happy to embrace.
The new architect, human no less, seems like the kind of person she will be able to help even as he brings his expertise to solve their latest quake crisis. While this is the last book of the series I have a feeling we may be heading into a spin-off series. After all we want to know what happened to Fenris and also the resolution of the situation at the mines!

Book Review
What an adventure this book is. Travelling to a different continent. Air ships that crash, boarding pirates, tricking mages who may harm them, and all the while running against time. I'm still a bit breathless with all the action that this book packed.
It was really nice to know that Sunaya's father was not the heartless chap we had almost decided he was. I mean a mage who takes up with a shifter and then leaves her pregnant high and dry. Then takes up with another woman and has a family with her...little wonder that we didn't much care for the character.
However he did redeem himself. After all how could he do anything about a child he was not even aware of! Still it will be interesting to see how much he supports his first born child in the books to come.

Book Description
For most women, being newly engaged to the love of your life is a time of celebration. But Sunaya's happiness is overshadowed by loss. But soon she finds that the two are not as unrelated as she imagined... and in order to accomplish both, she must put her trust in a man who has betrayed her.
Book Review
Have sat through the most of this series within a couple of days. The story just hooks you and you want to find out what's going to happen next! It's been absolutely fantastic following Naya's journey from a struggling enforcer all alone in the world to being engaged to the most powerful man in the state. Can't wait to see what they will do next.

Book Description
With the rebellion now in full swing, shifter-mage hybrid Sunaya Baine has no time for distractions. She must find out the true identity of the Benefactor and pull the plug on the Resistance's funding before they succeed in their grand plans for genocide and destruction.
But the heat is upon Sunaya now, and it demands to be sated. And since the Resistance has marked her for death, she can no longer walk freely amongst the very people she is trying to save. Death, danger, and desire hem Sunaya in on all sides, and with her friends caught up in their own problems, she cannot truly count on anyone except herself.
Does Sunaya have what it takes to wrangle her unruly shifter instincts and embrace her heritage as a mage once and for all? Or will she succumb to the forces around her, and finally lose her way?
Book Review
The absence of the Chief Mage has resulted in a total annihilation of law and order in Sunaya's hometown. As she tries to help the mages restore the city she is marked by the Resistance as an enemy. She's got to lok out not just for the external enemies out to shoot, burn and stab her, but also deal with the physiology of being a shifter female in heat. Of course the one male she wants is the one she can not have! Again a whole lot is going on in this book and while Naya and Iannis seem to be making progress towards each other, they know it's not going to be easy. Can't wait to read what happens next!

But Sunaya's relationship with Iannis isn't the only thing at stake -- if she doesn't find him soon, the Resistance might just succeed in plunging the Northia Federation into a devastating and bloody civil war.
Book Review
On his way to Dara for the Convention Iannis, Chief Mage disappears. Sunaya's status in the palace is drastically affected. She needs to get him back but how is she going to rescue him when no one seems to want her help? Leaving the mages to do their thing Naya recruits Fenris, Iannis' close friend and Annis, her best friend to trace down and rescue Iannis.
Unfortunately she finds the charms they shared are not enough to find him. And when they do find him he is under the magical influence of a shamaness. Can Naya bring back his memory and can they solve the plot the Resistance is planning in Dara? OMG what fun this book was. Racing through it and I kept flipping back to re-read bits.

Book Description
With the silver murders solved and her training as a mage underway, Sunaya figured her life would get easier. But between the Chief Mage's packed schedule and the grunt work demanded of her as an apprentice mage, magic lessons are few and far between. Worse, her apprenticeship leaves little time for her job as an Enforcer, and without bounties Sunaya’s money pouch is drying up -- fast.
Even so, when Shiftertown Inspector Boon Lakin asks for Sunaya’s help digging deeper into the murder of a fellow Enforcer, Sunaya has no trouble making room in her life to help him. The trail leads them to a series of crimes victimizing shifters for the entertainment of vicious humans. Sunaya and her friends race to identify the perpetrators and free the survivors, and the stakes are heightened when she discovers one of the victims has a connection to her. But if Sunaya is not careful, she may end up a very dead shifter herself...
Book Review
Sunaya was spared execution by the Chef Mage and taken under his wing as an apprentice. Now she needs to harness her magic so that the council does not consider her a threat. Things rarely go as planned for Naya and this time her busy schedule is keeping her from earning dockets as an enforcer.
She teams up with Boon Lakin, the new Shiftertown Inspector to check into the silver murders and ends up uncovering the Shifter Royale. An illegal gaming venture where shifters who are defaulting on their loans are forced to fight, sometimes to the death. A number of plot lines converge in this book as Naya struggles to find her place in the Palace and maintain her position with the Enforcers, plus things with the Chief Mage are heading in a direction she's not exactly sure can do either of them any good!

Book Description
In the city of Solantha, mages rule absolute, with shifters considered second-class citizens and humans something in between. No one outside the mage families are allowed to have magic, and anyone born with it must agree to have it stripped from them to avoid execution.
Sunaya Baine, a shifter-mage hybrid, has managed to keep her unruly magic under wraps for the last twenty-four years. But while chasing down a shifter-hunting serial killer, she loses control of her magic in front of witnesses, drawing the attention of the dangerous and enigmatic Chief Mage.
Locked up in the Chief Mage’s castle and reduced to little more than a lab rat, Sunaya resists his attempts to analyze and control her at every turn. But she soon realizes that to regain her freedom and catch the killer, she must overcome her hatred of mages and win the most powerful mage in the city to her side.
Book Review
Sunaya is an outsider looking inwards in a world full of humans, mages and shifters...She is a hybrid. The forbidden product of a mage and shifter affair. Her father ditched them at birth, but her mother's shifter clan took them in...then her mother died and Sunaya had no one.
When the Shiftertown Inspector took her in and raised her as his own, Sunaya's gratitude knew no bounds. Now he's dead...murdered by silver and she's hunting the murderer....This book has a kick ass heroine, you will be rooting for, all kinds of secrets that keep getting revealed and suspense that will keep you at the edge of your chair, figuratively speaking!
