Book Description
Jess Barnes was a rising star in the Information Ministry before she and her crewmates were kidnapped by Xaravian barbarians. She longs for her old life and friends. She can also live without bounty hunters chasing her down in every part of the universe. When one poisons her, Jess is in a race against time to find a cure for the odd condition that sets her heart racing -- made worse by the attention of sexy second-in-command Trazzak.
Trazzak likes order and rules, but Jessalyn brings total chaos to his life and the Galaxos, with bounty hunters and Alliance spies right behind her. When he starts to uncover the many secrets Jess has buried, Trazzak wonders if he should turn her in for betraying the rebellions... or get a lot closer.
Jess doesn’t know who to trust, and hardly even trusts herself as she battles bounty hunters, arms dealers, and the poison in her blood. When the Alliance offers her the antidote and her old life back -- in exchange for betraying her crewmates, the Xaravians, and the entire rebellion -- will Jess choose loyalty to her friends and her growing feelings for Trazzak over her own life?
Book Review
The adventures of the Earther women with the Galoxos crew continue with Jess. The cultural attache is actually an intelligence officer. We discovered that fact in the last book of the series when she went to bat for the team wanting to rescue a former colleague. Now she's trying to clear up the bounty on their heads by dealing directly with the Ministry.
She needs to believe that the Minister is corruption free, and that he will save her friends. Unfortunately her meeting with the contact at the ministry makes her a target for bounty hunters. Now her blood is poisoned and she has little time to complete one last mission which can save her friends from a lifetime of harassment.
She doesn't believe she will survive the poison anyhow. She definitely has no time for love, and certainly not for the Xaravian Trazzak. The story is predictable, but the twists and turns are fun to read. I'm actually happy this one wasn't too focused on the love angle. Book was good. Looking forward to the next in series.

Book Description
Cecily Griggs doesn't know what she'll do on the alien ship after she and her friends were sold by their old captain. When an old friend sends a distress signal from a planet of slave-traders, Griggs knows what has to happen -- she'll get Heidi back, or die trying. She's ready for a solo mission when the watchful, smoking hot Vrix insists on going with her. Griggs doesn't need the distraction of his silver eyes or rocky voice, but his muscles will definitely come in handy... Vrix wants nothing more than to claim Griggs as his own. She's fierce and independent and so sensual she makes his scales rattle with just a look. A short rescue mission is the perfect opportunity to seduce her -- especially when Griggs has to masquerade as his slave so they can access the darkest secrets on the wild planet. But when someone kidnaps her and Griggs disappears into the underground, Vrix will do anything to get her back. When old enemies ambush her and try to settle the score for attacking the Alliance, Griggs fights to save her friend and herself. Can she trust Vrix to help them escape, or will she spend the rest of her life fighting alone?
Book Review
The whole set of Fleet Officers rescued in the first book are now finding their part in the new world. Griggs is finding it difficult to adjust because her whole identity hinged in being a Fleet Officer. Now she doesn't know where she's at and Vrix is infuriating her. When they get a call for help from a former roommate, Griggs is the first to volunteer to rescue her. Not that Vrix is going to let her go charging alone into a lawless planet that is a haven for all the criminals of the alien worlds put together.

Book Description
Isla Lennox is the best interpreter aboard the Alliance ship Argo -- if the captain would ever give her a chance to do her job. When he finally does, Isla's big break turns into chaos and panic as she and all the female crew members are traded to an alien ship in exchange for the Argo's safe passage. The giant Xaravian warriors are intimidating, covered in scales, and... way too attractive. Isla and her friends won't surrender quietly, but it seems like the Xaravians are looking forward to that kind of fight.
The moment Vaant sees the beautiful, sassy interpreter, he knows he can't leave her in danger. She thinks he's a pirate and a dangerous rebel -- and that he bought her and her friends. Vaant must prove his honorable intentions, even as her flashing eyes and curvy figure drives him mad with desire. He'll even endanger his ship and go to the edge of the universe to keep her safe.
When her former captain frames Vaant for destroying an innocent ship and murdering another crew, Isla must face that the Alliance she served so proudly is not what it seems. Starting a new life as a rebel with Vaant sounds more and more appealing, but first they'll have to fight through half the Alliance fleet, escape a crumbling space station, and find love among the stars.
Book Review
Good start to a new series. Love the Earther women depicted in the book. Strong, skilled, stubborn and opinionated. Absolutely made for adventures around the universe. I hope the aliens suffer less broken bones when confronting the women in the next book!

Book Description
Natalia Chase isn't ready to have her babies, even after a tough eight months. When her doctor admits her to the hospital with concerns over a strange echo with the babies' heartbeats, she faces the most terrifying moment of her life. Logan begs her to let him change her to a lion so she'll be stronger through the delivery, but Nat fears losing herself before she even gets a chance to meet her kids. As the family gathers at the hospital and surprise after surprise wreaks havoc with all of Nat's careful planning, she'll have to face a heart-wrenching choice: save her kids or lose everything else, maybe even her life.
Book Review
This book is only to be read after you have finished the rest of the books in the City Shifters series. It's a tying of old lose strings and bringing together of new ones. It's a transition book where the Chase brothers are all with mates and now dealing with kids and marriage. It also still leaves a few unanswered questions like what happened to Smith, will the gorgons invade and of course Badcreek is still out there waiting to strike. On the whole I enjoyed reading about how all the characters have progressed.

Book Description
Lucy Randall couldn't save her partner, Ragnar, when their mission against a rogue wolf-pack went bad, but she can finish the job and at least honor Ragnar's memory by killing the men who ambushed him. Reaching the investigator who hired her, Smith, seems easy enough -- until she runs into a man with Ragnar's face and twice as much attitude.
Axel always thought he would have time to mend fences with his twin brother, until a strange girl with purple hair careens into his life and tells him otherwise. And when it becomes clear Lucy carries other secrets with her, Axel wonders whether inviting her into his life will only destroy what remains of his heart.
Can they avenge Ragnar's death and get one step closer to destroying the rogue wolf-pack, or will their hearts grow too heavy to bear?
Book Review
Axel has pretty much been the scariest bear in the den. Now he's got to confront more pain from the past as Lucy Randall enters his life. She was his twin Ragnar' s partner and there is no doubt that she is Axel's mate. He wants to keep her safe even as he wants nothing to do with her. Trouble is she wants revenge for Ragnar's death. It's difficult to keep a woman safe when she repeatedly walks into danger.
