Julie is having a tough time moving on with life after her husband dies in the accident with movie star Lucas. She's moved to a new town to try and pick up the pieces with her two boys. Then she discovers the remains of a young woman's body.The investigating officer is Connor. He's after a serial killer and realizes that Julie is a prime target now. She's just like all the other women who have been abducted. He needs to keep her safe, and catch the killer, hopefully without falling in love with her.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. It was different from the first book and I am still hoping to find out what happened to Scott's sister, but hey there was a lot of action in the book. Guess we'll see what the angels are up to in the next book in the series.
