Book Review

This book is only to be read after you have finished the rest of the books in the City Shifters series. It's a tying of old lose strings and bringing together of new ones. It's a transition book where the Chase brothers are all with mates and now dealing with kids and marriage. It also still leaves a few unanswered questions like what happened to Smith, will the gorgons invade and of course Badcreek is still out there waiting to strike. On the whole I enjoyed reading about how all the characters have progressed.

Book Review

Sasha's story is absolutely as brilliant as the rest of the City Shifters books. The author explores the Russian with a past beautifully and the love of his life is strong enough to be a hero in her own right. Sunny ( I love her actual name Sunshine) is literally on a mission to save women in abusive situations. 

 This is one time she knows that she will need help to save the family of an abusive cop. So she asks a police detective friend for help and it arrives in the form of a bear shifter, Sasha. His need to protect his mate is over run by his admiration of what she manages to do for these abused women. Still when she's kidnapped, there isn't anything he won't do to free her.

I received the book as a gift from the author in exchange for my honest opinion. And my honest opinion is that if you have not read this entire series as yet, you need to get cracking right away.

Book Review

I really like how the author mixes up Shifters with the Fae, Gorgons, and now Banshees! Of course this is the story of Malcolm. The bear who was converted and still believes that he has a demon inside his body that needs to be thrown out. He is not looking for trouble but his sister comes to town and is kidnapped. Now he needs the help of police detective Greer O’Brien to help him find her. Only trouble is he's not quite sure she's forgiven him for running away with her when she was unconscious in the hospital.

Remember Nick? The good guy in the Bad Creek pack? This beta has managed to help the mates of the Lions and the Bears, so it's natural that when his sister needs help the City Shifters rally around her. Kara only wants to free Nick. She is human and has no idea that Owen is her mate and will literally die to give her her heart's desire. Only trouble is Kaiser is not about to let Owen die quite that easily.

Axel has pretty much been the scariest bear in the den. Now he's got to confront more pain from the past as Lucy Randall enters his life. She was his twin Ragnar' s partner and there is no doubt that she is Axel's mate. He wants to keep her safe even as he wants nothing to do with her. Trouble is she wants revenge for Ragnar's death. It's difficult to keep a woman safe when she repeatedly walks into danger.

The story gives us more background on the Grolar bear ( grizzly + polar) and his lady love.

Book Review

I always like Shifter books. This one actually has a credible storyline and well fleshed out characters. First Lion Shifter Book I've read and I really enjoyed it. The Chase brothers are an interesting bunch. Can't wait to see how the series progresses.
