Book Description

Book Review

This book is only to be read after you have finished the rest of the books in the City Shifters series. It's a tying of old lose strings and bringing together of new ones. It's a transition book where the Chase brothers are all with mates and now dealing with kids and marriage. It also still leaves a few unanswered questions like what happened to Smith, will the gorgons invade and of course Badcreek is still out there waiting to strike. On the whole I enjoyed reading about how all the characters have progressed.

Lonely doesn't begin to describe how Rafe feels this Valentine's day. The Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack is just fed up and wants to sulk. Then he decides to do something about it and actually go on a date. The wolf is not expecting his mate to walk up to him in a bar on a blind date. She's not a shifter, she's definitely not human, but she is his mate and he will die protecting her. With a little help from Smith he may not have to die!

Of course things come to a predictable end when he enters the ring with a girl, Sophia, and his brothers catch him getting knocked out in the fight. Now Sophia has a few secrets of her own.

He senses she's not quite human, and he's upset enough with the treatment being meted out to her by the cops to interfere. He bails her out and she robs him! That's how the adventure begins.

Book Review

I always like Shifter books. This one actually has a credible storyline and well fleshed out characters. First Lion Shifter Book I've read and I really enjoyed it. The Chase brothers are an interesting bunch. Can't wait to see how the series progresses.
