Am going through this series like my life depended on it. Really glad that this book was free this week. And yes the SHIFT operators continue on mission find my mate. Can't wait to see what kind of mate SIdd is going to end up with. Greybear get's his Nessie in this book. A bear mates with a dragon and a royal one at that. Love the pyrotechnics in the book.

Book Review

I loved all the dragon tech that Serg stole from his clan. I wish it was possible to have those sunglasses with the dating app in them. It would be so cool! And yes the story line was nice as was the awesome science fiction like gadgets that they use. It was nice to see the old SHIFT team assemble when Serghei needed them. Loyal soldiers all of them. Am so looking forward to the next book.

I read this book back to back with the first one in the series and it's equally good. Well Haller got his mate out of tight situation, but got his SHIFT teammates into a bad one. Now their dragon pal is under observation, and a new dragon boss is (mis) handling the squad. All traces of their video need to be removed, but as they go about eliminating witnesses our lion of the book - Demian finds his mate Allison. One hot night to sire a cub and he's got to remove himself from her life to keep her safe. Now he's back along with the danger. Will she let him in, or will she guard Liam his cub and her heart against him...obviously they get back together

I started out with this book as it was free in some newsletter, but I must say it was so much fun that I went back and picked up the second book in the series almost as soon as I finished this one. It's a unique set of shifters that work together as a team - a wolf, a lion, a bear and a dragon. Apparently it's the dragons that call the shots and when out wolf of the book - Haller, discovers that his one night stand is actually his mate, he's going to keep her safe. Even if it means going up against a direwolf and a clan of dragons. Fun times follow...

Once I finished the City Shifters Pride and Den series I decided to check out this one as well. And It's got a complete new set of characters and is just as much fun. Zoe is human, and a master hacker. She gets into trouble with her bad guy boss so her brother decides to hide her with Simon. Simon is a bear and was not expecting his mate to be a wanted criminal. She gets into an accident and he can't think of losing her so he gives her a blood transfusion to save her life. She's not exactly grateful when she wakes up!

I really like how the author mixes up Shifters with the Fae, Gorgons, and now Banshees! Of course this is the story of Malcolm. The bear who was converted and still believes that he has a demon inside his body that needs to be thrown out. He is not looking for trouble but his sister comes to town and is kidnapped. Now he needs the help of police detective Greer O’Brien to help him find her. Only trouble is he's not quite sure she's forgiven him for running away with her when she was unconscious in the hospital.

I always like Shifter books. This one actually has a credible storyline and well fleshed out characters. First Lion Shifter Book I've read and I really enjoyed it. The Chase brothers are an interesting bunch. Can't wait to see how the series progresses.

Jared is a lost cause. One who has lost his mate, lost his will to live, lost any desire period. He only worries about his family and when the evil senator and scientist are coming for them, he decides to save them by assassinating the senator and giving up his own life. Then he sees that the senator's daughter is a shifter and holds his bullet.

Grace is a shifter. She is also the daughter of an anti shifter senator running for re elections. Plus she just happens to be his campaign manager. The new laws her father is proposing will force her secret out into the open. She has no clue about pack life and no one to turn to till Jared races up to her in wolf form.
