Book Description

I hate. I thought I hated before the letter, before the werewolves, but now I understand that was nothing more than a chip on my shoulder. The Urbat took what was mine. And, they will pay.

Isabelle leads a very normal life...for an emotional syphon. If not for Ethan and his bar, she would have lost her sanity long ago. But everything changes with the crash of her fighting cage and a man who transforms into a wolf. There’s something about Carlos—when he’s not growling at her—that makes her do things she wouldn’t normally do, like sigh and daydream.

Attraction aside, she is faced the very real evidence that werewolves and urbat exist, and the urbat are after her. And the only way she can keep Ethan safe is to join with the werewolves and Carlos. It’s a race against time to stop a war, fight for love, and find the last Judgement.

Book Review

Life was all about EZ (Ethan and Isabelle) but then the letter intervened. Now the peace of the Judgments has lost the only family she ever had. She is out for war with the Urbat. What she did not expect is Carlos.

Carlos knows his mate is in love with another man, a human. He knows she will not accept the mate bond even when she feels the pull. He is a patient man. He knows she will need his strength to get over her loss.

The Urbat are now really coming after the Judgements. Will the sisters survive the cycle? It's getting to the nail biting finish of the series. Can't wait to read the last book in the story.

Book Description

I left home because I didn’t want to end up in a cage like a lab rat. Hitching rides, begging for cash, and sleeping on the ground got old fast. That was the only reason I braved an overgrown path to a group of buildings. I’d hoped to find a bed and a decent night’s sleep. However, what I found was a place overrun by werewolves.

While on the run, Charlene finds herself surrounded by werewolves, creatures she can’t control with her mind like she can humans. Their existence has her believing she’s found a safe place to stay, a place where secrets are okay. However, she soon discovers she’s anything but safe. Charlene must learn how to use her abilities to influence the strange new species because if she can’t, the next bite she suffers might just kill her.

Read how the cycle begins, and have no doubt. Charlene’s past will shape the future of the Judgements.

Book Review

We've been reading about the Compound since book 1 of this series. In this book, which is mostly a flashback, we find out how it came into existence. How Charlene ended up with Thomas. It's got a number of answers to questions that were bothering me about how things came into being they way they did.

Of course we also get to see how the werewolves learned about the human having to claim them, rather than the other way round. We meet a young Mary  from Book 2 and see how she became friends with Charlene as well. Looking forward to what happens next with peace!

Book Description

The spring Gabby meets Clay, Michelle, another girl like Gabby, discovers the truth. A truth she'll need to share with Gabby and the other four like them.

Michelle...
They kept me prisoner for four years, using me for my predictions. They thought they had me subdued, meekly following orders, but they were wrong. I was waiting for a chance to run. I had to be careful, though. They had my brothers, and the leader wasn't exactly human.

The sudden death of her stepfather gives Michelle the only chance she may ever have to escape, and she takes it. She needs a place to hide and someone to listen to her predictions so her head doesn't explode. Yet, there's nowhere she can hide and no one to protect her from the monsters pursuing her.

Then, she meets Emmitt. He's calm, kind, caring...and a werewolf. If she can find a way to trust him, he might be able to do more than just keep her safe. He might be the one who can help her fight for answers about her gift and the other women like her.

Book 2, (Mis)fortune, introduces another leading character whose story, like Gabby's, will continue with the series.

Book Review

Gabby and Clay are just about getting their relationship under control when another of her "Sisters" is discovered on the run by Emmitt. Emmitt is pack leader Thomas' son, an alpha werewolf, who was in the military. Now he's out and wondering what he is going to do.
That's when he get's stuck playing knight in shining armour to Michelle and her baby brothers. It's a role he's happy to take on, given that she is his mate. However she is a human and has no idea what she means to him.
Compound that with the problems of having being abused and held prisoner Michelle is on a flight or fight response all the time. Can she take the step to trust Emmitt to keep her and her baby brothers safe? Fantastic read. Love this series so far.

Book Description

Gabby's brain is like a human fish finder. It comes in handy when she wants to avoid people. Mostly men. They seem to like her a bit too much. It's lonely being different, but she's adapted to it. Really. She just wishes she knew why she is different, though.

In her search for answers, she discovers a hidden community of werewolves. She immerses herself in their culture, learning about their world until she meets Clay. He's unkempt, prone to mood swings, intense without saying a word, and he thinks Gabby is his.

It's going to take every trick she knows to convince Clay to go away, and every bit of willpower not to fall for him when she discovers the man beneath the rough exterior.

Delve into a riveting world of werewolves and young women with unexplained abilities, in Hope(less).

Book Review

LOVED this story. How do you fall in love with a guy who refuses to speak with you!
This book was really unique in the fact that the male protagonist does not speak a word to his lady love all through the book. He still manages to get her to fall in love with him. Actions really do speak louder than words.

Clay is a werewolf more used to spending time in "fur" . Gabby is a human who is uniquely compatible to become a werewolf mate. Sam is an elder who takes her under his wing.

However Gabby wants more to life than going from one person's control to the next. She wants a normal human life, with college and fun, but at an introduction Clay and she discover the potential to be mates.

Will Gabby ever claim Clay? Or will she run as fast as she can away from a mate? Find out as you read this story!
