Book Description

When Nia Rivers closed her eyes and let death take her, she thought her immortal life had finally come to an end. But death is only the beginning, and for an adventurer like Nia, there is no rest even in the afterlife.

Now, Nia stands in the Garden of Eden, and all is not well in paradise. A group of angels are lobbying for the eradication of humanity, and as the bipeds continue to commit heinous acts that affect all of creation, God seems less inclined to say no with every passing day.

As the vote sways out of humanity’s favor, it’s up to Nia and her friends to stop the Apocalypse. But to do it, they’ll have to find a way to claw their way back to the surface and re-enter the world of the living once more.

Of course, that might involve fighting an army of angels, and defying God herself. But no one ever said coming back from the dead would be easy…and if Nia doesn’t figure it out soon, there won’t be anything left to return to.

Book Review

God's a woman! That really made me smile. Yes so many of the mysteries of Nia's life were solved in this book, only to leave us with more questions. Especially with the little adventure that Tres and Loren take to Asgard.
Now that Nia and Zane have their HEA, I want to know more about what is happening with Loren's love life. She can't just die a mortal death as a regular human being. I mean her best friend is immortal. Her two beaus are immortal and one of them can make her immortal. Can't wait to read what happens next to Loren.

Book Description

For much of her life, Nia has uncovered, recorded, and tried to stop the genocide of humans. But now the tables are turned, and death is rushing to meet her. In order to stop it, Nia must uncover clues to the garden where her kind are fabled to come from before two more of them meet the end of their immortality.

The clues she finds leads her into the rainforests of Central America. In the heart of the modern Mayan world, she’ll reunite with the Balam, jaguar shifters whose ancestry may hold the key to getting into the underworld of the gods.

With the Balam queens at her side, Nia travels through the midwest of Native American tribal lands where the doorway to her ancestral home may lie just below the surface of the Serpent Mound. There the Mohegan, the wolf shifters of the north, are not the only ones who stand in her way. Someone is destroying ancient mounds and blocking her path to the underworld.

As time runs out, Nia must find a way into the underworld or another of her kind will die. And this time, that person could be her...

Book Review

OMG! OMG! OMG! Can't wait for the last book. Nia is in so much trouble. Just as Tres makes through her defenses, she's swept right back into Zane's arms. Zane's so much more than the passionate artist. And the new shifter characters? Absolutely awesome. Can't wait to enter the garden with her in the next book. Wish it wasn't the end already!

Book Description

Nia and Loren return for another action-packed adventure...this time in Camelot, with King Arthur and his knights of the round table!

When an ancient relic of Camelot goes missing, who do Arthur and his knights call? Nia Rivers, ancient immortal and archaeologist extraordinaire, of course.

Nia jumps at the chance to go to Camelot, especially since she's been banned in the past. Thankfully, Arthur is willing to let Nia's past breaches of his castle, theft attempts, and a certain debacle with his sword be bygones if she'll help him recover the Holy Grail. But as Nia strives to keep her fingers to herself, enemies from the past resurface in a race to acquire the ancient holy relic.

As Nia and the knights head on a quest to get to the treasure, Nia gets a revelation about her heritage which could spell doom for those of her kind. She’ll need to find the grail before it falls into enemy hands and a prophecy comes true...a prophecy where the immortal life of someone she loves may very well come to an untimely end.

Book Review

What would you do if you reached Camelot? Well if you are Nia you will piss off The Arthur by trying to nick some historical artifact. Then add to the fact that our little Loren has witch blood! And you have a whole bunch of knights trying to keep her away from the action that she justifies is hers by rights. I just love the way this story is developing!

Book Description

Nia and Loren go head-to-head with Ancient Greek gods in the next installment of this epic urban fantasy adventure series...

Nia Rivers knows that immortality comes at a cost. So when she finds out that the Greek gods have devised a way to offer everlasting life to humans, she heads down to Athens to find out more about the mysterious cult of Demeter.

What she doesn't expect to learn about is her own involvement in the rituals.

With her bestie, Loren, by her side, Nia must determine if the Olympians are the righteous gods they proclaim to be, or the villians in this chapter of history. The broken heart she's still nursing from Zane's betrayal, and the conflicting feelings she has for Tres, aren't helping. But if Nia can't get her head in the game, the Titans will rise again, and the souls of all humans on Earth will be at risk...

Book Review

Nia Rivers has a new best friend, whether she wants her or not. Loren is sticking with Nia and also cheering team Broody Billionaire rather than Zane. Of course Nia did not expect that she would have to help save Loren from a bunch of Greek Gods who are apparently very close and dysfunctional as a family. Of Course Nia's completely forgotten that she was on first name basis with them. Loved the story.

Book Description

Meet Nia Rivers: archaeologist, fashionista, and an ancient immortal with a serious memory problem.

For the last couple of centuries, Nia has been trying to fill in the blanks of her past by shedding light on history's darkest stories. Her motto: the ugliest stories are the ones that deserve to be told the most.

But when a mysterious woman comes forth with a two-thousand year old relic from Nia's past, Nia isn't sure if the story connected to it is one she wants told to the world. Unfortunately, Nia has no choice but to uncover the truth--fast--before a greedy land developer buries the site forever. The fact that he's also an immortal, with a millennia-old grudge against her, doesn't help. Neither do the dark assassins who have been stalking her for centuries, and who've suddenly decided to up their game to end her life.

Letting her enemies have their way might be best for Nia, especially when the truth might expose a horrific crime from Nia's past. But all stories deserve to be told.

Even the ugliest ones.

Even if they say you might be a mass murderer.

Book Review

Just started this series and have to say that Nia's giving Sunaya serious competition in my eyes. This immortal woman who has cracks in her memory and can't figure out the reason why she's been targeted by Ninjas is a combination of vulnerable and fierce. She's practically immune to bullets and knives, but her heart is confused about why Tres seems familiar and safe when it is Zane who she loves. Add our tomb raiding human, Loren to the mix and you've got an epic start to a new series.
Even as she answers your questions she creates more! This is one author I love reading.
