Its amazing how Nina Wilde is in the path of every possible major archaeological find ever made! yea, yea, I know, I'm addicted to the action packed sequences that always seem to follow Eddie Chase as he goes about trying to rescue his damsel in distress, Nina. Well, the two have another strong and powerful enemy in the Covenant of Genesis which brings together some fanatics from the three major Abrahamic religions.
Their mission, to keep the world from finding out that the Garden of Eden was an actual place in Africa. The reason? It wasn't the home of early human beings, but a whole different ball game. So I'm not going to spoil the fun, in case you do decide to read the book. They go through many continents and countries and as Nina says, now people have officially tried to kill her on all seven continents.

Who wouldn't love it when a handsome, single man moves into their apartment building. Remi Calder is totally delighted to see Eadan Fleming shifting in. However its quite mortifying to be caught spying on him moving boxes by his younger brother as she hides behind the bushes. Well, she may be a confident young woman most of the time, but she also becomes a clumsy mixed up kid when infatuation hits and with Eadan it hits hard. So what's a girl to do but fall in love.
Eadan is trying to get over his cheating fiancee and get a fresh start. However he has decided that the next woman he gets involved with will not be a super thin model lookalike, but a real flesh and blood woman with a few pounds on her. Plus Remi totally fits that bill. When he gets her to help redesign his flat they get to know each other better. Unfortunately Eadan needs to go back home and pick up the slack on behalf of his brother, leaving Remi and him no option but to continue long distance.
Little does he know that Remi is helping her young friend Greta become more confident as she adopts a healthier lifestyle and loses weight. The two girls partner up to become thinner and the efforts are clearly visible when they go at it. I love the way the author has brought out the challenges that slightly obese kids go through with bullies and their own self. Of course Eadan's response to the new trim Remi is anything but desirable...Lol

Book Review
Haley's mother ran a horse rescue operation for ill treated horses which very often the mother and daughter team rescued together. In an ill fated rescue taking place in a barn on fire, Haley's mom asks her to take out a horse and is trapped inside. Haley is now left with traumatic burns, nightmares, and all the troubles of an orphan who doesn't know how she is ever going to make ends meet to keep the farm and the horse rescue work going.
Aiden is considered Hollywood's blessed Golden Boy. With his good looks, acting talent and movie deals, there seems like nothing he can do wrong. However Aiden has traumas in his own past that come calling after pack up. His depression is well hidden, but he's on a self destructive road with his binge drinking and drug intake. There seems little in his life that seems to anchor him. Then a chance meeting with Haley as a local newspaper reporter gets him wondering how he could change the way he lives.
They seem like an unlikely couple, but they have more in common than what meets the eye. I recieved a copy of the book as a gift from the author.
