Book Description
Lila McCarty used to see dragons.
That was before they killed her mother, before she told everyone what happened and people stamped the “crazy” label on her head. Now, as a senior in high school, she has no time for dragon legends or the tourists who putter around her lighthouse. She just wants to graduate and get the hell out.
But when twelve of Lila’s classmates, including her best friend, mysteriously vanish during the town’s dragon festivities, she tracks down the three mysterious guys who seem to know more than they let on. They’re sexy and infuriatingly charming, though that has nothing to do with why she’s enlisting their help.
It turns out Lila wasn’t crazy. Dragons are real. Not only that, the three dragon shifters have answers: her past, her role in their hidden world. It’s Lila’s duty to save her friends, whether she likes it or not.
When her classmates start turning up dead, she’s on a race against the clock--find the killer, or lose them all.
Book Review
As with all of Ingrid's books, there features a strong willed heroine, Lila. She's just been looking after the lighthouse, but there are creatures in the dark who have been waiting for her to come into her own.
The boy she crushes over finally invites her to a bonfire party, and cancels on her within the spate of a day. She decides to go anyway. That's when he distracts her for a while and when she returns to the bonfire, everyone is gone.
Now Lila must find her friends before they end up dead. That means she needs to trust new people, discover a secret world and wonder if the dragons from her imagination as a child were real people! Not to mention figuring out just how she is the new guardian!

Book Description
After the death of his wife and twin sons, Army vet Ian Slaney is a shadow of his former self, on the path of self-destruction. Only his best friend's disappearance pulls Ian back from the ledge. When he rushes to help, he discovers that his friend was murdered.
The single lead in the case is also the single biggest obstacle-Daniela, a mysterious beauty very much in need of protection, with a host of secrets hidden in her past. He needs her help as much as she needs his. But as the two of them track down clues and try to untangle an impossible case, they draw the attention of all the wrong people.
Ian wants the murderers. Daniela wants Ian to acknowledge the hot sparks of passion between them. But convincing Ian to set aside his protective instincts proves more difficult than teaching a water buffalo to tap dance.
Book Review
I wanted to rage and cry about the injustices that Daniela went through as a child. It was a situation that one can identify with all too clearly in third world countries, including rural India. However it was heartening to see how the author brought about a metamorphosis for this exploited child. It was a confirmation of the good in the world to read about how Ian supports Daniela and makes her dreams come true.
Of course the regular fare of mystery and thrills that Dana Marton always provides in her books is also present. The scenery sucks you in, just as much as the story does. The characters are so believable, even the evil ones, that it's scary. Another wonderful read from the author. Although it says Book 3, each of the books in the series are stand alone and can be read in any order.

Book Description
Zara Kenrook has never wanted to be ordinary. Abandoned at an orphanage, destined for a life in the slums, she’s clawed her way to the top and made herself a name as one of the best treasure hunters in Elantia.
But Zara hasn’t gotten to where she is without making enemies, and when one of them calls in a debt, her entire livelihood is thrown into peril. Suddenly, Zara is faced with two impossible choices—break into a dragon rider’s home and steal a priceless artifact, or lose the career she’s worked so hard to build.
Luckily, Zara has some experience pulling off heists, and she’s never been one to back down from a challenge. But when the object she tries to steal turns out to be a dragon egg, her whole world changes. For this particular dragon is about to hatch, and once it lays its fiery eyes on Zara, her life will never be the same…
Book Review
So in a lot of ways Zara Kenrook reminds me of Sunaya, and that's a good thing! This little orphan has gone from being a freelance treasure hunter to a dragon rider. The transformation takes place through a series of adventures. It was a story filled with mafia type elements, social class segregation, different magical talents, a drool worthy potential boyfriend, elements of a steampunk society and of course the most adorable dragonling, Lessie.
Can't wait to see the trouble this dragon baby gets into next with Zara. With this book Jasmine has gone back to her original strength of the fantasy genre with a strong female lead character. Thankfully no RH elements seen so far! I am absolutely delighted with the book and look forward to the next one.
