When I put up a ROOMMATE WANTED poster, he was the last person on earth I thought would respond.

He was also the last person on earth I’d agree to let live with me…on purpose.

But, here we are—roommates. I’m certain we can coexist without it being awkward, and I’m determined to make it work. There will be no sexual tension building with each accidental touch, no flutters when he wears that stupid backward baseball cap, and definitely no flirting when we text back and forth.

Caleb Mills can’t be the guy for me. He’s my best friend’s ex-boyfriend.

And that would be wrong…right?

Book Review

Once Delia moves out Zoe needs a new roommate. The last person she expects to answer her advt is Caleb. He may be absolutely gorgeous but he's her best friend's ex. How can Zoe in good conscious deal with her growing attraction to him? Given that Delia has moved on and is happy with Zach, there are some things that the girl code holds sacred and not getting involved with hot-exes is part of it. All Caleb needs is a place to move out and get some peace, he knows the situation with Zoe may not be ideal, but it will get him out of the shitty place he's at. Also he's always at work, so Zoe won't really see much of him anyway, right?! So what can possibly be better for both of them!

Book Description

"Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?"
That's how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was--unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again...but I did.

Everything was going great--until we discovered I was his son's teacher.

Book Review

Monty is a good girl looking for a new start. New town, new job and maybe a new personality? That's what Robbie from the bar brings out in her. Well, she's happy doing it with him till she realizes that he's a single Dad and his son is in her class! That'll put the brakes on their newly developing relationship effectively.

Book Description

A wrong number is supposed to be just that—a wrong number.

Delete. Done.

Do not continue to text. Do not flirt.

A wrong number shouldn’t be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night…and you’re definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat.

Because that would be weird.

When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don’t follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he’s wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction.

I’m not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number.

But maybe…

Maybe he’s the right guy.

Book Review

This was the sweetest story. A wrong number. Text messages flying back and forth and the misunderstanding resolved. That's when the true story begins. Zach Hastings is not looking for love, but it finds him when Delia starts responding to their textual flirting. Neither of them thinks it's going to go anywhere and they are simply having a bit of fun. Then Delia convinces Zach to become a goat daddy. How can she not meet him after that!

Book Review

The mind blowing finale. Yes it was Trelaren’s powers that have been causing trouble for the kingdom of Aemonsha. However the two finest psychics are waiting to fight him at the city of Traven. The gathering of the armies, the fighting, the temples of the Mother and the Scholar. It was all coming down to this...the final fight for supremacy. Maevan needed to prove her mettle and did she do it in kick butt style! This is one princess who didn't need to be rescued!

Book Description

It has been just over three years since Xenya became queen of Aemonsha. Things are progressing within the kingdom, but there is still unrest. Xenya is hopeful that a new school curriculum will help the next generations understand and follow the leadership of the First House.

Maevan and Raikar are happily married and closer than ever. The only thing more they could wish for is some privacy! Meirei couldn't be happier ruling the Second House with Coran by her side and her best friend Kolton as head of security. Although, after three years, the two men are still unsure of each other. Korla and Jorgan are on the brink of wedded bliss and join Renna and Kai, who reunite happily after three long years when plans to visit Coran and Rei turn into an unexpected side trip.

While everything appears happy and near to perfect, danger is lurking under the surface. The unrest seems to be growing through seemingly unnatural means. Will the family be able to unearth who is behind the unruly citizens and remain strong when tragedy strikes?

Book Review

Raikar and Maevan have finally married after three years of courtship. Korla and Jorgan are about to wed as well. Coran has found his match in Rei. And Even Renna and Kai are going to be reunited soon. Everything was going well...too well if you know what I mean.

Yes I was expecting it. No it didn't make it easier. Queen Xenya's murder is just about the most tragic incident ever. Now Maevan needs to take charge but the poor thing is so broken. Raikar needs to help his wife and be her strength.

Granada and Sol's side story takes up a lot of the book. Yes Cardea is important in the series, but I was wondering why so much importance was given to this back story that could have been handled much faster.

Book Description

With the Rogue Queen vanquished, the rightful queen sits on the throne! Queen Xenya now must prove to the people that she is the queen they deserve. With all her daughters safe, Xenya can lead the people back to the path Kaelen laid out for the people of Aemonsha.

Maevan is thrilled that her mother is once again queen and in Traven, but doesn't know what to do with her feelings for Jorgan and her mysterious rescuer turned bodyguard Raikar. Her formerly betrothed, Coran, has banished himself to the icy lands of Cardea to sulk. Although she is safe and well protected, Mae can't shake the sense that someone wants her dead.

The Second House has always declared they are neutral in the fight between the First and Third Houses, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Antara, the current ruler of the Second House, cares only for power and retaining her lands no matter the cost. Her daughter Meirei is not as malleable an heir as Antara would like. Jorgan and Meirei have always banded together against their mother's iron-fisted ways, as much as possible. Meirei is determined to rule the Second House her own way and is desperately tired of her mother's abuse.

Everyone has a destiny, let's hope they all survive to see it.

Book Review

Now that Queen Xenya is back on the throne, you would feel that Maevan, Korla, and Renna would be safe. However that's not the case. In fact someone is staking Maevan and wants her dead. It's not Coran, who has decided to isolate himself away from the capital in the icy land of Cardea. It's someone deadly, and while Raikar is still Mae's bodyguard, he's not too sure how to handle this new challenge. There is also the confusion over whom Mae will eventually choose, Jorgan or Raikar.

Jorgan's mother Antara, ruler of the Second house wishes to cement their relations with a marriage. However while Jorgan is fond of Maevan, he's not exactly passionate about them as a couple. A fact that seems to surprise him when he finally manages to connect with Korla.

Many years ago, Queen Xenya of the First House was forced to flee her throne to the icy land of Cardea. Now the rogue queen, Shaezen, has demanded Xenya's eldest daughter, Maevan, return to the ruling city of Traven. Alone.

Mae loves her home and family but understands the necessity of her placement within the palace of their enemies. Her mother has been preparing Mae and her sisters for the return of the First House to power their entire lives. Something no one could prepare Mae for is the sheer evil of Queen Shaezen and her many devious plans. Mae must find a way to survive her time in the palace while dealing with an evil queen, romance, betrayals, religious fanatics, and court life.

Book Review

This was a phenomenal start to a great series. The story of a widow Queen in exile, who is training her three daughters to take back the power that was stolen from them. Queen Xenya is faced with a difficult decision when the Rogue Queen Shaezen asks for an exchange of children. In order to show that the First and Third Houses are in harmony, Xenya must send her daughter Maevan away from the icy land of Cardea to the ruling city of Traven.

Mae must endure all the ill treatment of the false Queen while trying to figure out how to bring her house back to power. The only saving grace is that While Queen Shaezen wants Mae to marry her elder son, Coran, he is already in love with someone else and has no desire to be tied down to her. Mae hopes that Jorgan of the Second House, whom she has had a crush on for ages, will help her. Only the one who does come to her rescue is not Jorgan, but Raikar.

To make matters worse she's captured by Salcombe who is exploiting her treasure sense to hunt down the pieces of the Dragon God's heart. And while she is happy to bump into Tavarian at the Traggaren court, he's also in not much better position than a glorified prisoner.
