Book Description
A fake marriage. A real baby. One huge mess.
Avery Price needs quick cash to save her bridal shop. When she discovers a way to win $50,000, she jumps at the chance. The only catch is, she has to get married or at least stage a convincing wedding. Her best bet is Beach Pointe’s most eligible bachelor. But he hates everything to do with marriage.
Veterinarian Dr. Jack Maddox is a magnet for every gold-digger in town, but Avery is the only one who's ever walked out on the chance to share his bed. When he finds her in his kitchen in only an apron, he’s shocked that she’s changed her mind, but there’s a catch (of course).
Though he’d rather poke his eye out with a fork than even pretend to get married, he can handle a little acting for this fun-sized wildcat.
But, two little blue lines can ruin even the best of plans…

Book Description
One list. Ten names. A past he can't erase.
Deputy Jesse Maddox's reputation in Beach Pointe is...less than stellar. He thought following in the footsteps of his late father, a former cop, would make up for it. Not quite. Every time he closes his eyes, his past is there to haunt him.
After falling asleep on the job (again), the sheriff gives him an ultimatum. Get counseling for whatever's keeping him awake at night or get out. Jesse would rather have a root canal, but he goes anyway, expecting a big waste of time. What he doesn't expect is to fall in love.
Leigh Meriwether is so close to earning her counselor's license, she can taste it. But when Deputy Maddox walks in, she second guesses her career choice. The horror stories she's heard from her clients about him are enough to make anyone cringe. Despite her reservations, she gives him a game plan: make a list of people he's hurt, apologize and make amends. Simple enough.
What's not so simple? Uncovering the real man hidden within. What's worse? Falling for her own client.
Book Review
Jesse's falling asleep on the job and his boss the Sheriff is not happy. That's how he ends up in the office of a counselor. Leigh Meriwether is counting the days to earning her own license when he walks into her office, this troubled policeman. So she gives him some sound advice to get some sound sleep. Make a list and start saying sorry. Jesse doesn't really think it will help, but goes through the motions anyway. When his life starts changing drastically, she becomes his focus. He loves her, but she's never going to be unprofessional. He can't wait to get through his list to see if he has a chance with her!
